The guarantee, in full
Short version: we guarantee our preparation. If the Office of the Public Guardian returns your application because of an error in what we prepared, we fix it and pay the £92 registration fee again, not you.
What's covered
Everything we prepare: the answers placed on the forms, the wording of preferences and instructions, the eligibility checks our questionnaire runs, and the completeness of the printed pack.
If the OPG rejects or returns the application because any of that was wrong, we correct the paperwork, post you a fresh pack at no charge, and pay the replacement £92 registration fee per affected LPA ourselves.
What we can't guarantee
We can't guarantee the OPG will accept every application, and you should be wary of anyone who says they can. The signing itself happens in your home: the order people sign in, who witnesses what, and the dates written next to each signature are in your hands, not ours. The signing card in your pack exists to make that part as close to foolproof as paper can be, but we didn't see it happen, so we can't underwrite it.
If a rejection comes from a signing or witnessing error, or from an objection, a question over capacity, or information given to us that wasn't accurate, we'll still help: we'll explain exactly what the OPG's letter means and prepare any corrected pages at no extra preparation charge. The new £92 fee in those cases is yours.
How to claim
Forward the OPG's letter to help@example.com, or just email us describing what happened. There is no form and no deadline. We deal with it from there and keep you updated at every step.
