Why we built this

Most people make a lasting power of attorney at a hard moment: after a parent's fall, a diagnosis, a scare. What they find is a choice between 24 pages of legal paperwork done alone at the kitchen table, or solicitors' offices and solicitors' prices.

We think there's a better version: questions a person can actually answer, software that refuses to produce an invalid document, a pack that arrives ready to sign with the order worked out for you, and honest updates through the long government wait. That's the whole company.

We prepare documents. We are not a law firm and we don't give legal advice, and for complicated or contested situations we'll say so and point you to a solicitor. We are not affiliated with the Office of the Public Guardian or any government body, and the forms we prepare are available free at gov.uk.
